Last night I got the opportunity to see one of the most intimate and soulful performances I’ve ever experienced in my life. My best friend Sarah introduced me to Noah Gundersen a while back, and his voice was unique and endearing. When she let me know he was coming to Boston finally this spring, I knew we’d go together. And so we did. Last night at Cafe 939, in a crowd of no more than 50 or 60 people, I was three bodies away from Noah, and his siblings. His voice cut right through me in a way I’ve never felt before. To say this performance will remain one of my fondest memories is an understatement. After the show, there was another act that followed him, Sarah and I got the chance to talk to Noah and thank him for an amazing performance, he was genuine and humble. A night to remember for sure.
